Without Hipsters, How Will We Know Where To Buy A Home?
Who Do We Turn To?
Gnarly beards, handlebar mustaches, ironic tattoos and the best in designer bowler caps perched with a laptop, leather bound book and a piping hot latte; at a coffee shop that looks more like a rustic Italian café mixed with a vintage record store. This used to be the sign of THE NEXT BIG NEIGHBORHOOD, and with many of those folks spending much of their time safely in their home office, you may be wondering; how can I tell if this neighborhood is… “COOL”? The common market knowledge may be that space is limited in our great state, and it certainly can feel that way, but the ground level understanding is that, amazing hidden secrets of the past, ie. Everyone knows that Colorado is still full of great areas with amenities that span from hiking, biking and mountain entertainment: all the way back to fine art, foodie heaven and access to the soon to rebound tech industry. And YES, there are still deals to be had, if you look in the right neighborhoods and take the steps
Here’s A Few
(This could also be it’s own blog post)
Applewood: The residence will hate to hear it but this amazing western suburb has a very Boulder vibe with a Golden price tag. Large tracts of Hutchinson’s and custom contemporary homes reaching into the hills of Lookout Mountain, make this location undeniably attractive and the homes have stood the test of time.
Old with an E: Many historic Olde Town neighborhoods have been rejuvenated recently, and the results have been incredible gathering hubs in the center of many cities desperately in need of great food and drink.
Golf course communities: With our recent influx of out-of-towners the budget dynamic has shifted from palatial suburb retreats to chic Urban flats and back again! In the meantime, golf courses have become a great place to find an amazing home (probably in need of the granny reno), at a reasonable value
Eiber? Often the most valuable measure os an up-and-coming neighborhood is, homes in need of renovation. The style of homes that need work and the size of the lots that they were built on. In both of those areas the Eiber neighborhood is off the charts in a great way! Charming little ranch homes on 13,000 sqft lots or large 2 story craftsman homes on ½ acre lots; Eiber has your next renovation project, and you won’t be alone, the neighborhood is flipping fast!
